Remote Programming Policy
Video Systems:
- Programming “When Possible” is done in our office once a month typicaly on the second week of the month and covers up to 15 min at no charge
- Programming at other times will be billable at the current rate.
Access Control Systems:
- Programming “When Possible” is done in our office once a month on the second week of the month and covers up to 15 min at no charge.
- Programming at other times will be billable at the current rate.
Alarm Systems:
- Programming “When Possible” is done in our office once a month on the second week of the month and covers up to 15 min at no charge
- Programming at other times will be billable at the current rate.
Warranty calls:
If a piece of hardware is found to be defective, and under warranty.
– The part will be changed/replaced as long as the part is currently still in production.
– If the part has been recalled and a new part is or has been changed then that part will be used.
– Standard labour rates, and travel rates apply for time on site.
*Abuse, Neglect, Vandalism or work performed by anyone else but an Alberta Alarms personnel. If any of these have been found to be the case warranty may not cover the parts/Hardware in this case Parts/Hardware will be billable as well as time on site, and travel if required.
While programming in the office is a cost effective solution it doesn’t mean that everything can be done remotely.
When a site visit is required a minimum of 3 hours will be billed as well as travel if required.
